Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu escaped from a train accident today.
The train passed barely two feet from Naidu.
Naidu was personally looking into the flood relief measures at the ground level when the incident took place.
The AP CM was walking on a railway bridge near Madhura Nagar of Vijayawada when a train came along it. This was noticed by the security personnel of Naidu, who asked him step off the track and stay as far back as possible. The lineman had already been alerted by the railway authorities, and the train slowed as the latter waved a red flag to the train.
Naidu's security personnel surrounded him, with his Chief Security Officer Madhu Babu also right there. The train eventually passed barely two feet from Naidu, and the security personnel heaved a sigh of relief.
