10 IPS Officers Transferred In AP

Citing administrative reasons, the state government, on Saturday, transferred 10 senior IPS officials.

Hyderabad city police commissioner A K Khan has been transferred as the managing director of Road Transport Corporation, in place of B Prasada Rao, who has been transferred as the director general of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. The in-charge commissioner, Anurag Sharma, has been given full charge as the commissioner of the Hyderabad city police.

Additional director general (Law & Order) S A Huda has been promoted as director general of police (Law & Order).
While C P Das has been appointed as director general of Prisons, additional DGP Aruna Bahuguna has been appointed as chairman of the Police Housing Board.

Madan Lal has been appointed as managing director of the Police Housing Board. Lokendra Sharma has been named as chief of the Special Protection Force.

J Ramulu has been appointed as additional director general of Greyhounds, and Gowtam Sawang has been named as additional director general of AP Special Police. (INN)
