AP To Hire Amitabh Bachchan As Brand Ambassador

Medical & Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said Bachchan had accepted the offer, and would participate in different awareness campaigns for the State.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Medical & Health Kamineni Srinivas on Tuesday informed that Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan would be hired as the Brand Ambassador of the medical and health sector in the State.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting of the Experts Committee, Kamineni said that Amitabh Bachchan had accepted the offer, and would participate in different awareness campaigns for the State.

He also informed that the Experts Committee had also discussed the modernisation of the Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) and the construction of one super-specialty hospital in the headquarters of each of the 13 districts in the State. (INN)
