AP Ready For CBI Probe Into Tuni Kapu Violence
AP Home Minister N Chinarajappa said the government was ready to order a CBI inquiry into the Tuni violence if Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham wanted it.
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister N Chinarajappa today said that the State government was ready to order a CBI inquiry into the Tuni incident if Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham wanted it.
"The State CID has done a good job of investigating the Tuni incident, but the Leader of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Mudragada are levelling charges on the CID purely for political reasons," he alleged.
He said that to show that the government was committed to transparency, the State government was ready to order a CBI inquiry if Mudragada asked.
"Jagan is commenting on the Kapu community though he did nothing for their welfare," Chinarajappa also alleged.
