The location of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh will be announced on September 4.
The announcement of location was expected to be made today. However, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu deferred the announcement to September 4 in view of the death anniversary of former Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
