Looking for a platform to report your grievances to the government? The Ap government now has a portal that will allow you to file grievances instantly: www.meekosam.ap.gov.in
The site was launched by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today, and will be a platform where people can report local problems, give suggestions and post related photographs/documents.
The portal will record grievances through the user's Aadhar number. That will also help the user track the progress of their application.
Once your grievance has been registered, the user will receive an acknowledgement via SMS/e-mail. At the government's end, the grievance will be registered, tracked and forwarded to the concerned department. If the grievance is not addressed within a certain time frame, it will immediately be escalated to higher authorities.
The user can track the status of their grievance online or call the toll-free number 1100 / 1800-425-4440. A call center too has been set up to register and / or find the status of a grievance.
Meanwhile, speaking about the e-Governance initiatives in the state, the Chief Minister set June 2015 as the deadline for drafting an action plan for e-Governance.
IT Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy, IT Advisor J Satyanarayana, Advisor (Communications) Parakala Prabhakar, IT & C Secretary Sreedhar, Principal Secretary to the CM Satish Chandra and others were present. (NSS)
