The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu Desam Party, has taken an unprecedented decision regarding its annual conclave Mahanadu.
It has decided to hold the conclave online this year keeping in view the Covid-19 pandemic.
The party has decided to hold the conclave for six hours each on May 26 and May 27.
The party will use the Zoom app to hold the conclave.
A total of 14,000 party workers and leaders are expected to take part in the conclave.
The important leaders of the party held a meeting on the issue at the party office NTR Bhavan and discussed the arrangements needed to be made for holding the conclave online.
They also discussed the resolutions to be passed during the conclave.
Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Nakka Anand Babu, Alapati Raja, Ashok Babu and others took part in the meeting.
