TDP senior leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao, on Saturday, gave clear indications that the Telugu Desam Party might have an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party in the ensuing general elections.
Speaking to media personnel after calling on TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's residence, Errabelli said that the state needs a leader like Naidu while the country needs a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi.
Although he did not elaborate on this statement, but gave hints that the TDP-BJP tie-up was very much possible.
Errabelli also announced that the TDP will soon announce its Telangana Committee.
He also admitted the fact that he had some differences with the party leadership to the extent that he was planning to quit the TDP. However, he said, he had been persuaded by Naidu to continue with the party. (INN)
