The Lok Satta Party will field its candidates from 2 seats, in the by-elections to be held on 18 March.
Talking to reporters during a Rythu Maha Satyagraha Yatra on Sunday, Lok Satta president Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan said that the party would contest from Mahabubnagar and Kovvur constituencies in the by-elections.
He said that Narsaiah would be the candidate from Kovvur in Nellore district, while the candidate for the Mahabubnagar seat would be announced later.
Jayaprakash Narayan said that his party was not against the formation of a Telangana State. However, all political parties are trying to exploit the statehood demand for their own gains, he opined. (INN)
