Reacting to the submission of Congress Seemandhra leaders' statement before the Sri Krishna Commission, that
politically unemployed Telangana leaders are demanding separate statehood, Telangana senior Congress leader and MLC K R Amos, on Thursday, stated that the Telangana issue has existed since the past 60 years.
Talking to the media at the media point in Assembly premises, Amos asked Seemandhra leaders to behave responsibly and not make such "harsh comments" on such an emotive and sensitive issue. He said that such unwarranted and thoughtless comments can create law and order problems.
Amos asked the Seemandhra leaders not to test the patience of Telangana leaders. The MLC also stated that the Telangana leaders would send off Seemandhra leaders if they continued making such statements.
"It will be better to live in harmony after the division of the state instead of living in a united family with bitterness," he pointed out.
The MLC alleged that the Seemandhra leaders had earned thousands of crores of money by looting unemployed Telangana people, and that the Telangana agitation was born due to this frustration.
MLC Palvai Govardhan expressed the same feelings.
