The Kurnool district police seized six country-made guns on Thursday.
On a tip off, the police searched the area near a temple at Ahobillam and found the weapons secretly stashed away in bushes, DSP BR Srinivasulu said. No persons were arrested and investigation is on, he said.
Allagadda CI Sudhakar Reddy his assistants Ramesh Babu Eshwar, Maheshwar Reddy and others participated in the raid. Allagadda, represented by YSRCP leader Sobha Nagi Reddy, has been a sensitive area. (INN)
