All Arrangements In Place For Numaish At Nampally From January 2
The city's popular industrial exhibition, Numaish, will begin on January 2, at its usual venue, the Exhibition Grounds, and will continue for 45 days.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar today said that the city's popular industrial exhibition, Numaish, would begin on January 2, 2020, at its usual venue, the Exhibition Grounds, and would continue for 45 days.
Kumar said that the "exhibition", as it was popularly known, was a symbol of Telangana culture and heritage, and that one could get any kind of product, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, at the Numaish.
He said that the police had made thorough security arrangements for the safety and convenience of the visitors to the event. He added that the Exhibition Society too had taken steps to avoid any untoward incidents.
Mentioning some important arrangements, he said that fire hydrants had been set up, and roads had been laid for the movement of fire extinguishers. Two water sumps to store 1.5 lakh litres of water and nine emergency exits had also been set up, he added.
He said that security would be intensified at the grounds from December 25 itself, and that there would be round-the-clock surveillance.
