A local court on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi to February 26, in the alleged hate speech case.
The MIM leader, who was brought from Adilabad District Jail amid tight security, was produced before the Nizambad court by the police. A five-minute voice sample was also recorded in the open court in the presence of forensic experts. Later, the judge extended Akbaruddin Owaisi's judicial custody to February 26 while posting the hearing on his bail petition to February 14. (INN)
