Navdeep Arrested, Released On Bail

Tollywood actor Navdeep, star of such movies as Arya 2 and Chandamama, has been arrested by the Banjara Hills police for rash driving, under the influence of alcohol. He was later released on bail.

Navdeep was apparently not at his charismatic best during his dalliance with the law, hurling the choicest of expletives at the cameramen and reporters who had come to capture his, well, capture.

The local media has been speculating for a while now that many Telugu actors (and actresses) indulge in substance abuse in private parties and otherwise.
