Anti Corruption Bureau officials conducted raids on the residence of a Tax Inspector (TI) on Wednesday, and unearthed movable and immovable property worth Rs. 1.27 crore approximately.
The ACB raids began after the agency was tipped off that the TI, identified as D Subhash Rao, a resident of Alwal in Hyderabad, had amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to ACB sleuths, simultaneous searches were conducted at different places including his office, his residence at Alwal and Hyderabad, and other places.
