7th Phase Of Amaraveerula Spoorthi Yatra From Dec 22

Telangana JAC Chairman M Kodandaram said that the JAC would launch the 7th phase of the Amaraveerula Spoorthi Yatra on December 22 in Nalgonda district.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Kodandaram said that JAC leaders would commune with the people and understand their problems including minimum support prices and unemployment.

He also asked the state government to solve the Adivasi and Lambada issue amicably, and demanded that the government convene an all-party meeting on ST reservations.

Kodamdaram also said that the World Telugu Conference was not held as expected, and alleged that the state government had ignored many persons who had participated in the Telangana statehood movement.

"It was painful that the government didn't invite balladeer Gaddar, Vimalakka and Andesri. Also, arresting Manda Krishna Madiga was not correct on the part of the government," he remarked.

Earlier, Kodandaram had called on Manda Krishna Madiga in the Chanchalguda jail.
