4 additional judges have been appointed to the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday.
According to an official statement, President Pratibha Patil has appointed Justice Bejjaram Chandra Kumar, Justice Nalla Bhuma Narayan Rao, Justice Samudrala Govindarajulu and Justice Noushad Ali for a period of 2 years.
They will hold the posts from the day they assume charge of their respective offices.
The President of India is empowered to appoint Judges under clause (1) of article 217 of the constitution.
