Dumbriguda police on Tuesday claimed to have unearthed a drug racket, with the arrest of 3 men and the subsequent recovery of 200 kg of ganja at Jaipur Junction, Dumbriguda mandal, in Visakhapatnam district.

According to Sub-Inspector Koteshwar Rao, in a round of regular checking, police stopped an Ambassador proceeding towards Bhubaneswar from Jalaputta village, and came across 200 kg of ganja being transported illegally.

Police arrested 3 persons - Subash Dehra (31), Chitranjan (25) and Gude Krishna (25), the occupants of the car in which the contraband was being smuggled.

A case has been registered under Section 20-B NDPS Act, against the accused. Further investigations are on.
