The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) today held its General Body Meeting headed by its president and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at Gandhi Bhavan.
During the meeting, it was decided that an acre of land would be allocated for the office of the Congress in each district in Telangana.
It was also decided that the allotment of nominated posts would be done after the Lok Sabha elections.
The TPCC also decided to constitute committees at the village level across the State for the effective implementation of the party's six election guarantees.
It was also decided to abolish the State SC Commission, and to instead constitute another committee in its place. The party also decided to set up a committee for the review of the existing Zonal system.
It was the TPCC's first General Body Meeting after the appointment of Deepadas Munshi as the in-charge of the party's Telangana affairs.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers, AICC secretaries, members of the Pradesh Election and Political Affairs Committees, DCC Presidents, Presidents of the party's affiliates, and representatives participated.
