The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

I am a Hyderabad resident. Since Corona outbreak when I go to pick Groceries I have noticed every one picking Vegetables and fruits with their own bare hands. There is no point of locking ourselves in homes and practicing social distancing if every single citizen goes out there and touch same stuff over and over again and make markets breeding grounds of virus spread. Kindly address this issue asap and make it mandatory for the vendors not to allow customers touch the produce. Instead ask them to directly put the produce in customers bags.

I am a resident of Vinayak Nagar colony of mailardevpally area of Rajendranagar circle . the drain near the manhole on the street near our house is chocked and the waste water is not flowing into the drain.the water is coming out and flowing in the street Since 3 weeks I request you to deputy your sanitationon staff To remove the choke and do the needful.we have made a complaint to the conserned depatment and no one is responding.so i am kindly requesting you to solve the problem as soon as possible. Hi Sir we are staying in Nagole kothapet,sampthapuri colony road no 7,71/b h no sir from past 1week onwards no one is come to take home wastage how many days still I hve to wait for this people ......if I keep it all more than 1week wastage in my home definitely we the people will suffer from infections...wen month 1st comes directly they will come up and collect money now why these people are not taking responsibility.....Please do the needful..Thankq sir

Dear sir

i am a resident of kacheguda Sunder nagar A 2-4-680/71 since carona virus started nobody came to pesticides for mosquitoes in our locality in evening we can't open our mouth and can't sit without mosquito repellent..
Even we put all-out also mosquitos are not dying

So i requesting u to kindly spread pesticides smoke for mosquitoes ..

I request you please address my complaint as soon as possible...

Respected Team!!
I am resident of Fathenagar Area(Ashoka Foundary opposite to Masjid)
There is drainage leakage in front of our house. We have complained about it and respective Team cleaned it 1week ago again we are facing issue with the leakage.
Bad odor and dirt is troubling colony residents.
Even after they clean the drainage,they will not pick the bags and dispose them. Bags are placed in front of our house and smell continues. When it rains,whole content is leaked.
Another major issue our colony is not sanatised and they even does not spray mosquito repellents which is troubling residents with mosquitoes and other insects.
I request concerned Team to take action on this issue and help us with hygiene environment.
