The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

I citizen of Telangana resident of hphb colony, street light pole has been replaced in our street i.e near plot no 343 , HMt sathavahana nagar, st. Alphonsas high school, but the lights were not yet fixed, kindly fix the issue asap as we are worried about the stray dogs might bite, they lay under the parked car... Kindly fix the problem ????

I stayed in the Sarath defense colony, Rice mill Road, muthangi for 2 years. In our local area, all drainages were stocked and water from drainages floats on the roads. In front of some houses covered with drainage water too. It will cause many problems for the people who lived in our area. So kindly consider our problem as a serious issue and we will be waiting for the quick response. Thank you sir/madam.

We regret to bring to your kind notice to GHMC official , Please Inspect the construction in New Bhoiguda metro pillar 16 opposite , hence we are facing a problem of congested road ,we are unable to drive two wheeler, three wheeler and four wheeler, even the footpath is not visible not only for vehicular moment even pedestrians who walk are facing difficult as most of the construction material is left on the road for days and months till the construction work is finished. Please requested to come and look into construction work on urgent basis as there is no setback area left for road facing. This is not stopping with one construction as most of the other new constructions are encroaching and constructing as they want by taking inspiration from neighbors.

I as a citizen ask you to kindly take a visit and check the constructions.

I am expecting an early action and permanent solution to this grave encroachment.

Iam resident of rajiv gruhakalpa,jagathgirigutta500037.since 9years, beside block no 45 there was an illegal construction causing bloackage for road and drainage lane .this illegal construction was removed by respected MRO and team last month.but after a week that illegal constructor started construction much bigger this time.it was causing problem to many families here please take appropriate actions against him and see that illegal construction to be removed as soon as possible.please help us.

Sub: Complaint regarding Non-cleaning of Garbage in our locality.

Sir,

We regret to bring to your kind notice that the GHMC official is demanding money for Garbage lifting from each house in our apartment premises and if anyone deny to pay he stops lifting the garbage. Currently, for more than a week GHMC official is not lifting garbage from my premises and demanding money.

In our locality there is no garbage container because of which GHMC official is lifting the garbage from everyone premises. I raised complaint for the same with
