The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Today morning I was driving my two wheeler to drop my wife to office as very few city buses are running due to RTC strike. In the Badruka college lane Kachiguda one Calf suddenly came in front of my bike. When I applied brakes the bike skidded as the road is doing laden and we fell down and got injured. The road is being used as cattle shed and no action is being taken by GHMC.

I'm resident of Hyderabad boduppal area.the exact area location is pochamma temple opposite street.i dono whether ghmc people know it is also an area or not. Not even a single ghmc workers have come here to sweep the steet till today and no drainage cleaning ..when the day ends there is Alot of bad drainage smell and full of mosquitoes. ...the person who takes the dust from our area increases but he too comes once in a week . So many people have complained regarding this issue but no body has come forward to look at this issue ....even the power cut during the nights are v often please do take some necessary measures on the above issues and kindly do favor for us

Hi sir since more than a week in our colony ghmc members had cut out the three n they left the bushes her only it's been more than one week it's front of my home there has become so much mosquitos surrounding due to that n many people leaving more garbage in that only kids cannot play out side the home due to that n we r also not getting place to move n park our car please sir do clean our colony

I would Ike to bring to your attention to illegal construction and encroachment onto public land. Please inspect karwan , GHMC Kulsumpura Park karwan near opp Park. The new constructions are illegal and not authorised to build.
I am raised issue to the owners and boundry wall but they are very hostile and determined to break the government laws.

Dear sir/madam,
This is complaint against noise pollution due to ongoing construction in Kalapuram basti, Miyapur. The construction work starts very early in the morning around 5:00 and daily , even on holiday, some or the other heavy vehicles come at site around 4:30am creating lots of noise during unloading. During the work, the cutter , the other cement machine create lots of noise disturbing the neighbours. Request you to please look into the matter quickly

Staying near rajivgruha kalpa 37 apmt sir our lane street light is not working since last few months, it's so dark at night Nd we don't have proper roads also and also we are facing so many problems due to dis functioning of the street lights major problem is with snakes we have small kids and unable to walk through at night..... I am residing Huda colony c3-81 near water tank chandanagar few days befor our neighbours shifted to another place . So to to give house on rent owner hire person s for cleaning..after finishing their cleaning they dump all wastage like papers bottles paint wastage in front of my place .no one came to clean the colony.please clean as early as possible

Sir Lakshmi a 40sq yard's patta holder grabbed government Land on her husband name mallesh with house no 10-3-33/3 east marred pally land mark near jagruthi apartment can you please visit and take appropriate action, we have given complaint in collector office local MRO office we have all the documents as our patta land is also she has included and grabbed not sure what to do so i am complaining also we have filed a case in court with case no 164 of 2013, can you please visit the site and take appropriate action please help.
