The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Sir, Street cleaning is not taking place in our street no.6/2, Sainagar Colony, Nagole (For months together) once in two to three months one day superficial cleaning takes place. There is no lifting of garbage in the street. Please look into the matter.

In our locality named b. SHANKERLAL NAGAR Erragadda there are many people having illegal water connections n wasting drinking water by cleaning their house n flowing that waste water on the road. Kindly do the needful by taking necessary action. Especially butchering the animal and flowing the waste on the road.

i am a resident in telecom nagar, road num 10, Gachibowli. Garbage is not being collected since 10 days. This has become a habit for the pickup guy. Despite of several complaints there is no improvement. we are unable to keep the garbage outside due to stray dogs and monkeys in this area. Request you to proper action and see that garbage is collected atleast once in 3 days.

There are many wild dogs at chaderghat near Muslim hospital and thumbay hospital. All the people of the locality are disturb due to street dogs are harming the human kind. Kindly , come and take those dogs and take care of them.

Sir, a 5 staoried building construction at Gokhle Nagar, Ramanthapur, next water tank is going on in mid of residential area wit out any coverings of to their building, we are unable to live in homes all our homes and Living area is covered with cement sand and brick dust. There were seviour thirst and lung infections to our kids and family members. We have informed several times to builder balaswamy on this but he is not taking care and taking required measures. Plz kind request to visit this premises and take required action.

SiX man holes were blocked overflowing Near Swagath Grand Hotel, Vasavi Enclave, Madinaguda . 6 apartment complexes were affected. Three officials from GHMC visited the place and did not take any action to solve the problem from past 10 days. giving foul smell and the man holes became breeding grounds for mosquitos.

Dear Sir/Madam,
We have applied for death certificate for my brother-in-law Komaravolu Subbarao on 24/12/2018.Already 16 days completed till today we have not yet received the certificate.As per GHMC website, it is indicated that seven days time period to get the death certificate after submitted the required documents.Verfication also completed on 31/12/2018 at 11 PM by Mr Arvind from Kapra Municipality with a lady.He says that issues on 5/1/2019 at 12PM.We are in emergency to submit the death certificate in Court.Please help us to receive the death certificate today at 12 PM.Waiting for your early help today.My contact no.9441072931
