The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

We are residents of kavadeguda area. We are facing difficult with some rowdy sheeters who have been parking illegally in our apartment complex area – “Gayathri apartments”. They have been trespassing into our residential complex and parking their vehicles without our permissions. Please tow these two vehicle numbers – “10 EG 4699” & “TS0 9EE 6399” (Black color) and suspended these two vehicles owners driving licenses immediately and cancel these vehicle registration ASAP.
Also we have witnessed illegal construction of shops under residential complexes, Under “Vijaya Apartments” in kavadeguda area. Illegal construction of shops of these two rowdy sheeters has been witness. Kindly inspect every apartment complex in this area and demolish every illegal construction of shops ASAP. As many of these illegal constructions under apartment buildings are supported by these two local rowdy sheeters. These two local rowdy sheeters also possess fire arms inside their apartments. Once of the rowdy sheeter is non local & Non Telangana by the sir name “Singh” (North Indian) The only way to resolve this issue is to file a FIR against all their crimes and violations so far. One then Kavadeguda local residents can sleep peacefully.

I am staying in New maruthinagar road no 3 in front of my house man hole is fulled and drainage water is coming out drainage smell is coming. I am informed to certain supervisor on Friday morning and Saturday also.but the supervisor was not answered properly.

we r not getting tap water in our area since one week properly..i request the area corporator to see the vicinity problm but this is not happening.at last i took this step..as our cheif minister said no water problem wll hve face in telangana specially in summer inspite of that we are facing a problm In our vicinity...plz solve ths issue as soon as early

The area under Vijya Appartments is only for vehicle parking and NOT for shops . Kindly do the needful and demolish all illegal constructions in this area ASAP
