GHMC 24x7 Grievance Cell: 155304

Citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider,
Hyderabad | 1st January 2013
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Knowing address of GHMC office Circle 11 is so difficult? The service desk gives me the number published in the website which are not valid anymore.
The GHMC office number 040-23225397 does not answer. Seems like the number gets disconnected on purpose from otherside despite calling multiple times. Such a shame !!

I stay in Padmarao Nagar near skandagiri temple. Garbage collectors come at 1pm when most of the households are locked. Is that a time for picking garbage? But for collecting their fee, they are willing to watch our timings and come in the evenings. What the hell is this? Solution is either we throw it on the road or throw that at the street garbage bin. God save GHMC

Most corrupt municipal of India is GHMC. GHMC passed circular to collect 50 rs for garbage collection but illegally collecting 50 rs per door in a house. So it became 300-400 rs from a house. In India main problem is people don't ask questions and don't want face it. How can we know that collected amount is going to government without any bills. Why we should not get bills for these collection, when getting tickets for even 5 rs in bus then why we give 50 rs without bills? GHMC complaint being closed with simply ATTENDED but not Acton on ground. No escalation system available for closed complaints.

Dear GHMC
This is to bring to your notice that the street lights in the Slate The School lane are not working from more than 6 Months near Dharam Karam Road. Raised couple of complaints by calling to the online number. Every time I get a call stating that the need to clear the tree branches and asking me to clear that and then come back....which is strange.

Issue we are facing is because of no street lights, the Ladies hostels girls along with their boy friends are sitting on foot path and behaving Unpleasantly till late nights. Some times we see people shouting and fighting . Even Police has taken the things lightly and stopped daily patrolling.

Not really sure if this web sight will help me, but hoping that there will be some action taken to help the colony members to leave peacefully.

Thanks in advance.
