YSR Congress Party president and Leader Of Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy were behind the murders of his party's Pathikonda in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy and his follower Sambasivudu.
The YSRCP supremo called on Governor E S L Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and complained that the CM and his deputy were behind the "murder politics" by TDP men across the state.
Speaking to the media later, Jagan alleged that the TDP's "criminal" politics were creating terror among the opposition cadre and leaders.
"It is a conspiracy meticulously planned by Chandrababu Naidu and executed by K E Krishnamurthy," he said. He said that his party would however not be cowed down, and would resist the murder of democracy.
He also lashed out at Naidu for luring MLAs from YSRCP and threatening its leaders as his own party was fast losing ground in each district.
Later, Jagan left for Kurnool to participate in the funeral of Narayana Reddy and Sambasivudu.
