YSR Congress Disrupts Assembly Proceedings

The YSR Congress Party continued to disrupt the proceedings of the State Legislative Assembly demanding a voting on Telangana Bill.

The YSR Congress Party continued to disrupt the proceedings of the State Legislative Assembly demanding a voting on Telangana Bill.

This is the 4th time that the party has disrupted the proceedings of the house citing the same reason.

As soon as the House met on Tuesday, the YSRCP members rushed to the podium of Speaker Nadendla Manohar seeking voting on Telangana Bill.

The YSRCP floor leader also gave an adjournment motion notice on the issue which was rejected by the Speaker.

YSRCP MLAs disrupted the proceedings while raising slogans in favour of united Andhra Pradesh.

Following uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House for 15 minutes.

MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi resumed his debate on Telangana Bill after the House re-assembled at about 9.35am. (INN)
