Congress Leaders Pay Tribute To YSR

Congress leaders, on Sunday, paid tributes to former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, on his 64th birth anniversary.

Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana, Labour minister Danam Nagender and former government advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao paid floral tributes to YSR's statue at Punjagutta circle, and recalled his services for the state, particularly for farmers.

At Gandhi Bhavan, the PCC president and other leaders also paid floral tributes to YSR's photo, and recalled his services for the party. They said it was thanks to his leadership skills that the party came to power twice in AP, in 2004 and 2009.

Legislative speaker Nadendla Manohar, the chief minister, deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and deputy speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Legislative Council chairman Dr. A Chakrapani and Marketing minister Mukesh Goud paid floral tributes to YSR's photo in the Assembly, and recalled his services as a legislator.
