Yadireddy's Body Cremated
Yadireddy, who committed suicide allegedly for Telangana, was creamted at Pedamangalaram village in Moinabad, Rangareddy district, on Friday.

The mortal remains of Mandhadi Yadireddy, who committed suicide allegedly for the cause of a Telangana state, were consigned to flames in the presence of thousands of Telangana supporters at Pedamangalaram village in Moinabad, Rangareddy district, on Friday.
Yadireddy's body was cremated per his family's traditions, to protestors' slogans of 'Jai Telangana' and 'Yadireddy Amar Rahe'.
The slogans reverberated through the air even earlier, as the funeral procession wound its way from the Telangana Martyr's residence in Pedamangalaram village to the burial grounds.
Telangana Political Joint Action Committee convenor M Kodandaram, Telangana Rashtra Samithi Floor Leader Etela Rajender, MLAs Harish Rao, K T Rama Rao, Telangana People's Front president Gaddar, Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee president Swamy Goud, Telangana Officers Employees Association president Vittal, Telangana Jagruti president K Kavita, Telangana United Front leader Vimalakka, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ch. Vidyasagar Rao and Badam Balreddy were present at the funeral.
Earlier, Telugu Desam Telangana Forum convenor Errabelli Dayakar Rao and senior leader Devender Goud placed wreaths on the body placed at a local school in the village, for people to pay their respects.
The police had increased security in the village, deploying additional forces, to prevent untoward incidents during the procession.
Meanwhile, the Osmania University Joint Action Committee extended its support to the TPJAC's bandh on Friday, and staged candle-light rallies in the university as a mark of respect towards Yadireddy. (INN)
