The CBI special court, on Tuesday, adjourned the hearing on the CBI's memos for judicial custody of former ministers P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao, to July 1.
It may be recalled that both the ministers had filed memos asking the court to direct the CBI to submit the original CDs that were submitted before the court as evidence.
Following the court's orders, the CBI submitted video clippings of press conferences addressed by the ministers, in which they had claimed innocence.
Earlier, the CBI had filed memos in the CBI special court at Nampally seeking the ministers' judicial custody, on June 7.
Taking the cognizance of the fifth chargesheet, Sabitha Indra Reddy attended court twice along with 11 others.
She was charged with allotting 407 acres in Kadapa district illegaly, during her tenure as minister for Mines. Dharmana Prasada Rao is also facing charges of involvement in the VANPIC case. (INN)
