Damodar Criticizes Palvai's Meeting

The Congress leader said that if Palvai had any problems with the design of the Polavaram Project, he could have approached CM or the high command.

Senior Congress leader and former minister Damodar Reddy on Wednesday criticised his party colleague Palvai Govardhan's meeting with Governor E S L Narasimhan to discuss changes in the designs of the Polavaram Projects.

Damodar Reddy said that a senior leader like Palvai approaching the Governor has sent a wrong message to the public. He added that if Palvai had any problems with the design of the Polavaram Project, he could have approached Chief Minister K Rosaiah or even the party high command and lodge a complaint.

Damodar Reddy also said that the people of Telangana do not want the Polavaram Project, and as a veteran leader, Palvai should have known this.
