AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao today said that the Congress would strongly resist the attempts of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to shift Dharna Chowk from Indira Park.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, VHR said that KCR was afraid of the people. He also wondered how, if KCR was intimidated by a single person like TJAC chairman M Kodandaram, he would stand on his feet if the Congress cadre invaded the roads.

He predicted that a tsunami would take place in the TRS soon.

VHR also joined the growing chorus of voices asking the Chief Minister how he could fulfill his personal vows of offering golden ornaments to temples with public money.
