The winter session of the state Assembly is likely to commence from November 29th.
According to highly placed sources, the house will sit in session for 6 days from November 29th to December 4th.
The Legislative Council will also sit in session along with Assembly.
The sources say that Chief Minister K Rosaiah is insisting on a brief winter session in order to maintain the custom which has been in practice for the last 6 years.
The legislators are likely to discuss the rescue and relief measures taken up in coastal Andhra affected by super cyclone 'Jal'.
A discussion on the arm-twisting methods adopted by microfinance institutions to recover loans, and the resultant ordinance promulgated by the government for their regulation will be taken up during the session.
The Assembly is likely to focus on farmers' problems also.
