Former MLA of the Khairatabad Assembly constituency and son of veteran Congress leader PJR P Vishnuvardhan Reddy today said that he continued to be in the Congress, and that he would remain in the party.
Reddy, who has been lying low for a long time, said that he would become active in the days to come. He also said that he was ready to discharge any kind of responsibility the party assigned to him.
Commenting on the upcoming party he is hosting for the party leaders, he said that he was organising it in order to meet all the party leaders. He said that he had invited TPCC chief Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other senior Congress leaders to the party.
When asked about the recent entry of his elder sister Vijaya Reddy into the Congress from the TRS, Vishnuvardhan Reddy preferred to not comment on the issue. He, however, said that it was the party's decision to allow anybody.
The decision of Vishnu to host the party has become a talk in the political corridors of the Congress as it is being held in the wake of the recent joining of his sister Vijaya Reddy into the party.
