Former minister & BRS MLA Malla Reddy made some interesting remarks today.
He said that there was nothing wrong if CM Revanth Reddy and he met.
"Revanth Reddy is an old friend from the TDP, and we both worked in the party together. We will meet Reddy to invite him for the Keesara temple programme. Why is it wrong if Revanth Reddy meets me? Isn't he the CM of the State?" Malla Reddy asked.
The former minister was speaking at a meeting of Medchal BRS activists.
On the occasion, he also thanked the party workers for supporting him.
"I have been an MP once and an MLA twice, and a minister, too, and it is all thanks to the support of the party's workers," Reddy said. He claimed that "95% justice" had been done to the people of his constituency.
He also announced that he would soon start a real estate business in Goa. "I have already bought a hotel in Goa. The real estate business in Hyderabad has slowed down," he said.
Malla Reddy entered politics through the Telugu Desam Party in 2014, and contested from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat and won. In the wake of the changed political situation, he quickly donned a pink scarf and joined the BRS. In the 2018 Assembly elections he contested as an MLA from Medchal and won, and this time he served as Labour Minister in the KCR cabinet. In the recently held Assembly elections, he won from the same Medchal constituency for the second time in a row. His son-in-law Marri Rajasekhar Reddy was also elected this time, as the Malkajgiri MLA.
