Minorities Welfare Commissioner and Wakf Board Special Officer Shaik Mohammad Iqbal on Friday informed that the computerisation of the Wakf records would be completed by next month.
Iqbal said that the computerisation of records would help in the protection of Wakf properties worth crores of rupees.
He added that the computerisation would also eliminate the possibilities of any tampering with the records.
He also informed that an initiative has been already started to take back the Wakf records from the Hindu Endowments and Archives Departments. (INN)
