A clutch of announcements were made today as outcomes of minister K T Ramam Rao's ongoing US trip to attract investments to the State.
VXI Global Solutions, a leading customer experience and customer care service company with presence in 42 locations across North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean, has decided to set up a 10,000 employee centre in Hyderabad soon.
Telangana Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao, who is in the USA as part of his official visit to attract investments for Telangana, today shared this information to the media after meeting with VXI Global Solutions Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Erika Bogar King.
"Another massive new addition to the rocking Hyderabad ITES sector. A Bain Capital Owned company, @vxiglobal, leading provider of customer experience solutions, with presence in 42 locations across North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean, makes a grand entry into Hyderabad - to setup a 10,000 employee centre (sic)," KTR tweeted.
More announcements on the same lines were made today. Technology innovation company Mondee Holdings has decided to set up a technology centre of excellence in Telangana, generating employment for about 2,000 people.
This was announced after Prasad Gundumogula, Founder Chairman and CEO of Mondee Holdings, along with the company leadership team, met Rao in Houston.
The leadership team of Storable, which established its first Global Development Centre (GDC) in Hyderabad recently, also met Rao and shared their expansion plans in Telangana.
Storable is a leading software provider for the self-storage industry serving 41,000 out of the 60,000 storage facilities across the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe. The tech giant will tap into the city's talent pool, hiring 100 software developers to start with and expanding further later.
The company has also proposed to partner with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), and to engage with the local educational institutions.
The leadership team of Storable that met Rao included Jonathan Lewis, VP of People Operations, and Neil Verma, VP and General Counsel.
