The case of the firing incident involving former minister Mukesh Goud's son Vikram Goud took a new twist on Monday with the police revealing his links to the drug mafia and that huge debts forced him get himself shot with a gun.
The new angle in the case came to light on Monday in police interrogation. The cops investigating the case felt that Goud made a suicide attempt by getting himself shot at.
The police reportedly concluded that Goud had hired a gang to fire at him. The Task Force police also detained three youths in this connection and interrogated them. A police team also went to Ananthapur to nab another youth involved in the supari-style attack.
