Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao on Sunday announced that he would raise the issue of the Centre's ordinance on the Polavaram Project, in the upcoming session of the Parliament.
Speaking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party office, VHR said that injustice was being done to Telangana in giving away 7 mandals of Khammam to Andhra Pradesh.
He said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu immediately reacted when the Telangana government announced its decision to extend the fee reimbursement benefit only to local students. However, Naidu remained silent when injustice was being done to Telangana on the Polavaram issue.
VHR said that he would not only raise the issue in Parliament, but would also approach the Supreme Court if required.
He also advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be cautious with Naidu. (INN)
