Verdict In Akbaruddin Owaisi Hate Speech Case Postponed
The MP MLA court today adjourned the verdict in the cases of AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi's hate speeches in Nirmal and Adilabad, to Wednesday.
The MP MLA court at Nampally today adjourned the verdict in the cases of AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi's hate speeches in Nirmal and Adilabad, to Wednesday.
The controversial comments made by Owaisi had created a nationwide uproar and prompted the local police to book criminal cases under Sections 120 (b), 153, 195, 298 and 188 of the IPC.
Owaisi was later arrested by the police, and spent 40 days in jail.
The police made elaborate security arrangements in different parts of the Old City keeping in view the verdict.
