The state government, on Thursday, announced that the photographs of 278 Andhra Pradesh pilgrims, who are still missing, will be sent to Uttarakhand.
According to the reports, the pilgrims who are either missing from the flood-hit region of Uttarakhand, or are feared to dead, belong to the following regions - Hyderabad (153), Ranga Reddy (68), Kurnool (19), Vizag (10), Kadapa (10), Chittoor (10), Guntur (6), Ananthapuram (3) and Nizamabad district (2).
The state government has decided to send the photographs of these missing people to the Uttarakhand government.
To this end, the state government has requested the relatives of the missing people to drop photographs at the District Collectorate and tahsildar offices. (INN)
