Minister for Irrigation N Uttam Kumar Reddy today strongly condemned the allegations of BJP Legislature Party leader Maheshwar Reddy that he had handed over Rs 100 crore collected through kickbacks from rice millers to the Congress high command as election fund.
The minister said that the BJP MLA was constantly trying to be in the news by making baseless and false allegations.
He said that Maheshwar Reddy and his party leaders were speaking without even basic knowledge, and were merely resorting to malicious propaganda.
"We have provided excellent governance in Telangana during the 100-day rule of the Congress government. Moreover, we are also setting in order the mess created by the previous BRS government. It is a blatant lie and sheer wickedness to say that we have committed corruption and are collecting a U-tax," Uttam Kumar Reddy said.
