"The Telangana state will become a reality soon if all the joint action committees affiliated to Telangana work cohesively, and make concerted efforts for a separate state," stated MP G Vivekanand.
Vivekanand was speaking after flagging off a massive rally organised under the aegis of Telangana Journalists Forum from the Telangana martyrs statue at Gun Park.
The MP also promised that he would extend his unreserved cooperation to the Telangana state formation.
Senior Congress leader and MP Madhu Yashki was also present at the spot to extend his support to the Journalists rally.
Telangana People's Front chief and Balladeer Gaddar and Nayanai Narsimha Reddy, Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association President Swamy Goud, Devi Prasad, and Rasamayi Balakishan participated in the rally.
Journalists from various parts of Telangana participated in the rally which culminated at the RTC Kalyana Mandapam.
Earlier, the journalists observed one-minute silence by paying floral tributes to those martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of Telangana.
