An unemployed girl from Telangana's Nizamabad district today created quite a stir outside Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's camp office, Pragathi Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, she told the security staff of the camp office that she had come to question the CM and his government over the delay in the release of different job notifications in the state.
Alleging that the CM had convened a meeting on Dalit empowerment with an objective to cheat the marginalised group once again, she claimed that the TRS regime had been cheating the youth of the state as well.
"The CM had the audacity to spend Rs 100 crore to win elections but does not seem to have any desire to release the job notifications." she fumed.
The girl tried to enter the camp office. But, the police took her into custody before she could do so and rushed her to the police station.
The issue of growing unemployment in the state has cropped up several times.
Earlier this month, politician Y S Sharmila had slammed the KCR government on its "inability" to provide employment for the youth.
She had made the remarks after meeting the kin of Venkatesh, a youth who had committed suicide on May 16 as he was reportedly dejected by the non-issuance of job notifications in the state.
