TV5 Journalists Get Bail

Editors from the news channel who were arrested after airing reports of a conspiracy behind YSR’s death have received conditional bail

TV5 editors who were arrested have received conditional bail from Nampally Court. They might be released this evening. The Court has agreed to release them provided they do not broadcast any news related to YSR’s death until investigations are completed.

TV5’s Input Editor Venkata Krishna and Executive Editor Brahmananda Reddy were arrested on Friday after the news channel aired 4-month-old reports of a conspiracy surrounding YSR’s death. TV5 had quoted a Russian tabloid’s article that alleged that the Ambanis were behind the helicopter crash.
