The Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) Executive Committee has decided to appoint renown spiritual speaker and scholar "Brahmasri" Chaganti Koteswara Rao as the Advisor for TTD's dharmic programs, said TTD Trust Board Chairman Y V Subba Reddy.
After chairing the HDPP and SVBC Executive Committee meetings held at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupathi on Friday along with TTD EO A V Dharma Reddy, Reddy announced this to the media.
He said that as the TTD had been conducting various parayanams for the past three years for the sake of global devotees, the Committee felt the need for proper guidance from a renown person who was versatile in this area, and referred the name of Rao.
Reddy also disclosed some of the other important decisions taken during the meetings. They are:
1. To take up Hindu dharma prachara activities in a wide manner in the remote villages by involving the rural youth
2. To design more such programs
3. To provide the necessary bhajana and kolatam materials to the villagers to organise bhajana and kolatam programs
4. To conduct yagas and homams in every place seeking divine intervention for the well-being of humanity
