TSRTC MD V C Sajjanar today said that corporation had taken a decision to withdraw the Family-25 and T-6 tickets issued in the Greater Hyderabad limits in the wake of increased passenger traffic due to the implementation of the State government's Mahalakshmi scheme.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Sajjanar said that the decision would come into force from January 1, 2024.
"The conductors need to see the identity cards of the passengers in order to issue the Family-24 and T-6 tickets, to verify the ages of the passengers. Due to the increase in traffic due to the Mahalakshmi scheme, conductors are taking a lot of time to issue the Family-24 and T-6 tickets. As a result, the travel time of the services is also increasing," Sajjanar said.
