Nizamabad MP K Kavitha said TRS MPs would stall proceedings in Parliament to mount pressure on the Centre for a speedy division of the Hyderabad High Court.
Hyderabad | 20th July 2015
The TRS MPs would raise the issue of the bifurcation of the High Court in the Parliament monsoon session commencing on July 21, Nizamabad MP K Kavitha said today.
Talking to the media on Monday, Kavitha said that the TRS leaders would stall the proceedings in both the Houses of the Parliament and mount pressure on the Centre for the speedy division of the Hyderabad High Court and the bifurcation of officials.
Though one year had elapsed after the bifurcation of the state, the Centre is still dilly-dallying on the crucial issue of the bifurcation of the High Court, she bemoaned.
Non-division of the High Court was leading to a sort of uncertainty in the state and people were being put to much inconvenience, she added.
She attributed the alliance between the Telugu Desam Party and the BJP government at the Centre to the prevailing situation in Telangana.
She further alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had been hatching conspiracies against Telangana and causing hurdles to its projects.
She expressed discontent over the Centre's negligence on the issue even as the Andhra Pradesh government was continuously trying to sabotage the bifurcation of the court.
Finding fault with the Left parties for constantly railing against the TRS government, Kavitha sought to know whether the leaders of those parties were unable to see the problems of the poor and the deprived classes in Andhra Pradesh. The parties should wage a similar fight against the AP government to resolve the Anganwadi workers' issues, she suggested.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was committed to the development of Telangana on all fronts, she said, adding that KCR had brought about the creation of the Telangana state, and would definately shoulder the responsibility for its development as well. (NSS)
