Another TRS MLA A Jeevan Reddy, who represents the Armoor constituency in the Telangana Assembly, has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The legislator had taken ill and joined a private hospital in Hyderabad. The doctors conducted a corona test on him there and found him infected.
However the doctors said that there were no symptoms of Covid-19, and after some basic medication the MLA home quarantined himself at his house in the city.
Reddy's followers and staff have also had their samples taken for testing, and the results are awaited.
Reddy is the third of five TRS MLAs from Nizamabad to get infected. Earlier, Bajireddy Govardhan and Bigala Ganesh Gupta had also gotten infected.
The MLA had also recently met with some of the aspirants in the party for some municipal co-option posts, and they have all been advised to get tested, too.
