On this very day three years back, TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao started an indefinite fast for the Telangana movement. To celebrate the same, the TRS party is currently conducting the "Deeksha Divas" at dharna chowk near Indira Park.

The event, which was organized by former MLA T Padma Rao, is expected to go on till 4pm in the evening, and is attended heavily by Telangana leaders from all over Rangareddy district.
